What is the best glue to use for bakelite?

Bakelite is a hard, infusible, and chemically resistant plastic. We recommend being 100% sure that the plastic is definitely bakelite, you can use Selleys 5 Minute Araldite Epoxy.
If you think you might need a bit more working time than 5 Minute Araldite will allow you can use Selleys Araldite Super Strength, this is 2 part epoxy glue that holds up to 150kgs. It gives you a working time of up to 2 hours to cure.
