Yes, Selleys Liquid Nails Clear can be painted with any type of paint. This includes enamels, latex and acrylic paints. Selleys Liquid Nails Clear dries hard with a smooth surface and we strongly recommend that you do prime before you paint. Make sure the adhesive is clean and free of dirt, oil, dust, grease etc. before you paint.

Before you paint Liquid Nails Adhesive, give it at least 24 hours to cure. As it cures, the adhesive grows stronger, harder and evaporates a tiny amount of moisture. Painting glue too soon can interfere with the curing process which can make it weaker.
