Selleys Sugar Soap does not need to be rinsed off from the surface if you are repainting although it is still good practice to wipe over each area as you go with a clean damp cloth, particularly if the surfaces were badly soiled such as nicotine stains, heavy grease and dirt buildup etc.
It is important to make sure the wall is allowed to dry before you paint the wall. Sugar soap should always be rinsed off when using for general cleaning where you are not painting the surface.
Please note that YOU MUST wipe off Selleys Sugar Soap immediately from aluminium and brass surfaces.
