With almost all cartridge type products it is best to simply leave the nozzle screwed onto the cartridge with a little bit squeezed out the end. This will cure and forms a plug which seals the main cartridge. This plug can be pulled out the next time you want to use the product. Over time, the product may cure further down into the nozzle, but you should be able to unscrew the nozzle and dig the hardened sealant out and continue using the nozzle. Once any cartridge or tube of sealant is opened it does have a limited useable life before it will cure in the container and become unusable, but the tips above should let you use it for longer.
