What sealant should I use between kitchen benchtop and wall bend a cooktop?

We would recommend either Wet Area Silicone or Selleys No Mould Silicone sealant.
Both are available in a range of colours as well as clear. They will both withstand temperatures up to 150°C and allow for +/- 25% flexibility which should more than compensate for any movement in the home.
Because they are unlikely to be in direct contact with food they will be suitable between the bench and wall. If food contact may occur such as preparing food directly on the benchtop surface, Silicone 401 can be used as it is suitable for incidental food contact.
